On August 15, 2006, Mary, Mother of our Lord Day, The Youth & Family Institute, Bloomington, MN is launching a three-year major fund appeal to raise $2 million dollars for an endowed fund to support the mission and ministry of The Institute.
God has used The Youth & Family Institute to be on the cutting edge of the youth and family ministry movement. Throughout North America The Youth & Family Institute is known for its Passing On Faith conferences, Peer Ministry training, Hand in Hand and Four Key Congregation training, congregation-based wellness ministry, signature coaching of leaders in congregations, and creative resource to pass on faith like: FaithChest®, FaithTalk®, and FaithTalk® With Children.
Dr. Dick Hardel, the Executive Director, states, “For The Institute to grow as God has blessed and directed the vision and for the staff to remain healthy, we must establish an endowed fund to support our mission and ministry. It will provide financial balance for faith formation in the future.” |
To accomplish the goals of With All My Heart, Soul, and Strength, The Institute is searching for individuals like Barnabus in the Book of Acts to give a total of $1 million dollars, foundations and businesses to give $200,000, and congregations, like the congregation in Philippi, to give $800,000 over the next three years.
The Youth & Family Institute is all about discipleship for the 21st century. The Institute is committed to helping congregations strengthen families to partner in nurturing faith, living well in Christ, and passing on the faith. Based on biblical scholarship and modern research, The Youth & Family Institute creates models for effectively passing on the faith, sponsors conferences and training events for spiritual leadership in home and congregation, provides coaching for pastors and lay leaders in congregation, and creates and provides resources to nurture faith in the home and congregation.
